User permissions

Atomrock cloud permission is based on the role-based, hierarchy separated concept. The user account is used to login the AtomCloud system and mobile APP system.

• USERNAME: The user name is defined by user profile's first name and last name field.
• EMAIL: The valid and confirmed email address of the user. This is the unique identity of the user and used to send notifications and download video footage.
• FUNCTION: The user can be used to get notification only, or has permission to manage the node.
• NODE: The node of this permission, which grants the same permission to all the sub-nodes.
• PERMISSION: The permission can be manager or read-only.

ADD NEW PERMISSION: Each user can be assigned multiple permission role on different nodes. The higher-level node permission will automatically inherited to the lower-level node unless the lower-level node has permission specified for this user.  Higher permission will take higher precedence than the lower permission (i.e. Manager > Read-only).

Click the icon to enter edit mode, where you can modify the Node and Permission, or click the icon to delete the permission.
