Clip management

When something noticeable in the AI event or recording, user can request a cloud recording download in the stream center or archive vault. The email notification and download link will be send to user when it is ready. At the same time, the video and download link can be accessed and managed in the clip management menu.

Note: the video data generated in the clip management and its accessible link will be open to access. Please keep the link secure and remove delete the clip if the link is compromised.

Select the camera and duration will list all clip recording and events by date. There are several actions can be taken on this page:

  • DATE RANGE: Select date range of the video footage (the video start time)
  • DELETE CLIPS: Delete selected clips
  • SEARCH: Type in text to filter search on name, tags, device name and SN.
  • SELECTION: Select multiple clips to perform delete function .
  • CLIP NAME: The name of the clip.
  • SNAPSHOT: The first image of the clip.
  • TAGS: Tags provided for the clip.
  • DEVICE NAME/ SN: Device name and serial number of the device.
  • START TIME: The recording start time for this clip.
  • DURATION: The duration of the clip.
  • PLAY VIDEO: Play the clip on a new browser tab.
  • FORWARD CLIP: Forward the clip's download link to other emails.


Audio transcribe

Audio transcribe feature is an AI to analyze the audio from a spoken language or multiple languages into text. Furthermore, it provides additional features to mark the text time as a subtitle in the video. With the new Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) deep learning language model, we can further process the result text into easy to read text, or summarize a long text.

There are two ways to use audio AI. First is to process the video clip that includes audio. To do this, use the icon in the clip management page.



Please specify the language used. Select more than one language is allowed. Fewer languages will have higher accuracy rate.

Confirm to use Audio AI to process this clip. This will consume the LIC-AT-500 (Audio Transcribe 500 minutes) license. The minutes processed will be deducted from the total unused minutes. The processed result will shown in the Edge AI -> Audio transcribe page.
