Particle AI Stream Center

Particle AI Stream Center allows users to access edge video recording devices and view them remotely. It is the place to see live and playback videos in either normal streaming mode or particle-visualization mode, download the related cloud recordings, and obtain a quick overview of the AI events associated with the configured particle alarm-zone settings.

Left Side Panel

Displays selected edge video devices like cameras. You can click   icon switch between large camera snapshots with alarm-zone configuration, or a compact thumbnail view of the cameras. Snapshot of the device will update every 10 seconds to the most recent view. You can drag and drop Snapshots to change the arrangement of devices, and the system will automatically remember the order.

AI Event & Video Control Panel

The main AI event & video control panel contains the following information:

  • Zone overlay display selector: Show or hide the zone boundaries defined in the zone settings for reference.
  • Event play: Play recorded video footage based on the selected time.
  • Particle event play: Play recorded video footage in particle-visualization mode based on the selected time.
  • Download recording: Request the video footage of selected time. System will provide a secure link via email to download separately. This secured download link will be valid for 24 hours.
  • Download particle recording: Request the particle video footage of selected time. System will provide a secure link via email to download separately. This secured download link will be valid for 24 hours.
  • Date time selector: Date time selector can select the event date and time to query.
  • Live play: Request a real-time live video stream from the edge device. The stream is sent to cloud securely, so client browser never accesses the local network directly.
  • Particle live play: Request a real-time live video stream from the edge device, displayed in particle-visualization mode. The stream is sent to the cloud securely, so the client browser never accesses the local network directly.
  • Event activity chart: The event count chart of the selected date. Display the event counts across the timeline. Clicking a dot navigates to the events that occurred within that time period.
  • Cloud recording activity bar: The blue bar indicates the cloud recording status. The darker color means more footage recorded within the 30 minutes segment. Clicking a segment navigates to the corresponding time period.
  • Event card list bar: The particle events triggered by the alarm-zone settings are listed here. Use left and right to scroll through the event time. To play an event, the user can click an event card and then click on the Play cloud recording or Play particle visualization cloud recording button, either in the Control panel or in the Video play area.

    Clicking an event card will:
    • Display the large event snapshot in the Video play area.
    • Display detailed information about the event on the left side of the Video play area.
    • Update the selected playback time in Date time selector accordingly.

  • Video Play Area: The video play area is the section of the interface where the video is displayed and played. It also shows the event snapshot and related information when an event card is selected.
  • Device Name and Nodes: The device name and the node it resides in.

Multi-View Layout Mode

In multi-view display mode, the interface presents multiple real-time live camera feeds simultaneously, allowing users to monitor real-time status from several cameras at once. It also provides flexible configuration options, enabling users to adjust the display settings according to their needs.

  • Grid Display Area: Display multiple split screens to conveniently monitor multiple camera feeds simultaneously. You can switch the display via the Control Panel at the top. Draggable split-screen to swap screen positions, with the system automatically recording the position order.

  • Status: If a device is offline, the icon will be displayed.
  • Control Panel: The control panel offers various grid layouts that can be customized according to user needs, allowing for convenient simultaneous monitoring of multiple camera feeds.
  • Toolbar: the toolbar functions include the following:
    • Zone overlay display selector: Show or hide the zone boundaries defined in the zone settings for reference during live viewing.
    • Live play: Click the icon request a real-time live video stream from the edge device. The stream is sent to cloud securely so client browser never accesses the local network directly.
    • Particle live play: Click the icon to request a real-time live video stream from the edge device with particle visualization enabled. The stream is sent to cloud securely, so client browser never accesses the local network directly.
    • Device selector: selects the devices to search

Zone Alarming Settings

In the zone-settings workspace, users can configure multiple alarm-triggering zones by drawing boundaries on the reference image and defining the particle-occupancy threshold that triggers an event for each zone.

  • Back button: Click to return to the Particle AI Stream Center interface
  • Zone rule setting panel: This left panel provides functions for adding, listing, and configuring alarm zones
    • Zone addition: Click to create a new zone used for event triggering.
    • Zone list: Each listed zone can be configured with the following fields:
      • Zone name: Name the zone. Double-click to edit.
      • Particle proportion: Double-click to enter a value between 0–100. If particle coverage in the zone goes above this percentage, an event will be triggered.
      • Zone indication color: Click to assign a color to differentiate zones.
      • Zone deletion: Click to delete this zone and corresponding boundary lines.
    • Boundary drawing: After creating a zone in the Zone rule setting panel, click the icon to begin drawing the zone boundary on the reference image.
    • Boundary saving: Click the icon to save the boundary drawn for the selected zone.
    • Reference image view: This view displays the current environment as a visual reference for drawing zone boundaries. It helps users identify regions that require different sensitivity levels when configuring zone alarms.

The reference image is updated after performing the refresh and save actions located at: Device > Camera > Info > General > Snapshot
