Stream management
Stream center allows user to access edge video recording devices and view them remotely. It is the place to see live, playback video, and download related cloud recordings, as well as a quick overview of the associated AI events like motion activity, facial detection, and facial search results.
Auto refresh:
Display the current camera snapshot, it will auto refresh every 10 seconds.
Left Side Panel
Displays selected edge video devices like cameras and temperature stations. You can click
icon switch between large or small image of camera view snapshot. Snapshot of the device will update every 10 seconds to the most recent view. You can drag and drop Snapshots to change the arrangement of devices, and the system will automatically remember the order.
Note: auto-update requires firmware 3.6.0+. For 3.5.2 or below version, please use the camera setting menu to capture and save.
Video play area: The Video Play Area is the section of the interface where the video is displayed and played.
Device name and nodes: The device name and the node it resides in.
Video Control Panel
The main video control panel contains the following information:
- Date time selector: Date time selector can select the event date and time to query.
- Live play: Request a real-time live video stream from the edge device. The stream is sent to cloud securely so client browser never accesses the local network directly.
- Photo search link: If AI event is supported, the Photo search link icon will be displayed, Click the photo search icon to use the detected photo for photo search AI.
- Event play: Play recorded video footage based on the selected time.
- Download recording: Request the video footage of selected time. System will provide a secure link via email to download separately. This secured download link will be valid for 24 hours.
AI Event Panel
The AI event type selection icons contains the following information:
- Al event info: Display selected event information.
- AI event type selection: Select different events from motion AI, face detection, face search or temperature AI. The selection button will appear based on the camera’s enabled function.
- Grid view: Show grid view.
- Event activity chart: The event count chart of the selected date.Display the event counts across the timeline. Clicking a dot navigates to the events that occurred within that time period.
- Cloud recording activity bar: The blue bar indicates the cloud recording status. The darker color means more footage recorded within the 30 minutes segment. Constant cloud recording should have full dark bar. Green color bar indicates the recording has been move to long-term archive vault. Please use Archive vault menu to retrieve the video footage.Clicking a segment navigates to the corresponding time period.
- Event snapshot bar: Use left and right to scroll through the event time. Mouse over the snapshot will display brief information about the event. To play the event, user can click on the snapshot then click on the play history button. Click on the snapshot will:
- Display large snapshot in the video viewing window.
- Display the detail information of the event below the video viewing window.
- Refresh the selected history play time and download video time.
PTZ Setting
If it's a PTZ camera, there will be a PTZ setting button, click the button to open the PTZ setting interface, the PTZ setting selection icons contains the following information:
- Close PTZ Setting: Click the button to close PTZ setting.
- PTZ camera controller: Control the direction of the PTZ camera, press the
icon to return to the home position. - Zoom: Control the camera zoom, adjustable with zoom in or zoom out.
- Preset position: Users can switch between preset positions, after selecting from the dropdown menu, click the
icon jump to presets. - Motor Speed: Control the movement speed of the PTZ camera, there are 5 settings from the slowest to the fastest.
