Node Management

Company node is the hierarchy system used to separate the devices management, function, and user permissions. The hierarchy is created and managed logically, not bound to physical location of the device. Node is the logical container created to place physical device in. Thus, node can contain another node or devices; device cannot contain other device or node.

Object AI uses the node hierarchy to display the different marked areas. By expanding the camera with object AI, user can see and edit the marked area.

  • CREATE: By selection on the node, you can create another leaf node by giving the name.
  • CREATE AREA: By selection on the node, you can create area node, the area is a visual area used to associate with AEC, IOT gateway, and camera location within it. Properly defining and area will enable more precise location function and camera’s coverage in an area view.
  • RENAME: Rename the current selected node.
  • DELETE: Delete a node, the devices under this node will be move to the top level.
  • DRAG AND DROP: By holding mouse cursor on one device or node, you can drag it over to the destination node and release to move the node.

    • Note: by moving the node, all the devices and node within the node will also move with the node. Object AI drawing area is not movable.

  • NODE NAME: The name of the node.
  • NODE PHOTO: Picture of this node.
  • LATITUDE, LONGITUDE: The latitude and longitude of the location. This value will add automatically when a map point is clicked.
  • ADDRESS: The address of the location, this value will add automatically when a map point is clicked.
  • MAP: Display of the map, users can drag the location of the map, zoom in, zoom out and click on the map to specify location. The weather information is based on the location specified.
  • EDGE COMPUTER: Select the AEC device for this area. Each area can only associate with one AEC which manages several IOT gateway and provide the locationing and IOT device management function.
  • AREA NAME: The name of the area.
  • AREA IMAGE: Picture of this area.

Object AI Area Defination: If a camera defines an area to detect object AI, it will display here under the camera. Configuration of the the object AI area is under the camera setting.



  • EDIT CAMERA: You can enable multiple areas to be included in the object AI counting.
  • EDIT AREA: Edit area will jump to camera's object AI configuration menu.
