AtomView Mobile App Manual

Thanks for choosing Atomrock solution. AtomView is the mobile application used to connect to AtomCloud and provide the real-time status, event, video and audio check. Supported flip phone, including phone and pad type of devices. Users can download the application from Apple App Store or Android Google Play Store.

Requirement (for 3.3.2+): iOS 12.5 and Android 10 or above version
Recommended devices: iPhone X or later, iPad running iOS 15 or later, Android phone with 4G+ RAM.

App Notification

After install the App, please allow notification so it can be successfully sent to the device. please use the cloud management site to setup notification for AI events or system events in “Configuration” -> “System Settings” -> “Notification” menu. After user first time login, the device will appear in the “App recipient” list with the device type and OS version.

Important Note: Uninstall and reinstall APP will change the mobile device identity token. All associated notifications will not deliver, not show on the list, and require reconfiguration. Please use cloud management site to delete old notification settings.







To login and start using AtomView system. User uses the same login account and password as Atomrock cloud management system site.

iOS devices allow AtomView to send time senitive notification, please adjust setting to your preference.

After user log in, stream center will provide the list of the camera with the AI event bar below. The AI event count display in numbers and the cloud recording displayed in color below the number. The deeper the color means more recording in the one-hour duration.

The device info section has the online/offline status, name/hierarchy of the device, and the red live play icon. Click on the “LIVE” icon will trigger the player to initiate live stream request. The first-time request takes approximately 10 seconds to initiate secure streaming over AtomCloud, then it will start the live streaming. After first initiating, other requests on the same or short period of time should start streaming within 3 seconds.

In the LIVE player, user can expand to full screen to get a better view, as well as taggle audio enable/disable.

Live play start speed is dependent on the connection speed and delay between camera, AEC, cloud and the mobile devices. It is possible the live play can take longer than 30 seconds to start if there is a high delay in any of the connection.

By swiping left and right at the event bar, user can change the display for different AI result. Click on the event number, or the camera image will bring into the individual device view.











Click on the upper right calendar icon to select different date and change the event display.

In the single device view, when swipe left, and right at the event snapshot image, it will load the next or previous event. Information of the event displays at the bottom of the event image. Click on the event image will bring the single image view where user can zoom in and out on the image.

Click on the play recording icon triggers the player to play selected event cloud recording. User can use the control function in the player to view the video in full screen or turn on/mute audio.

Click on the download recording, icon triggers, the download request. Here user can select the start time and the video footage length from 5 to 30 minutes. The download link will send to users email.





At upper-left of the stream center page. There is a menu icon to change selected cameras, switch company, manage recording clips, set notification or log out.

The menu options are:

  1. SELECT CAMERAS: Select the camera displayed in the stream center. Please note that the newly added camera is not automatically included in the selection.
  2. CLIP MANAGEMENT: When user requested a video download link from cloud recording, it will be saved here.
  3. CHANGE COMPANY: Switch different managed companies.
  4. SETUP NOTIFICATION: Setup notificaiton for this mobile device.
  5. LOG OUT: End the current session and return to login menu.

Clip management menu:

In this menu, user can filter the list with the upper right camera icon, play the video clip, forward the video clip link to others via email, or delete the video clip.

Recording clip list view

Play video clip, can enable audio, adjust play speed or enable full screen view in the player.

Forward video clip link to others via email. User can enter multiple emails here.

Delete the video clip, this will also invalidate the video clip download link.

Change company menu:

Switch between different companies, click the upper right check icon to confirm.

Setup notification menu:

Setup notification is the place to add notification for the logged in user to add notification specifically to this mobile device and the email.

Note: User can also use cloud to delete this notification rule, but can only edit this notification rule using this menu on this mobile device.

Use the upper right icon to add a new notification.

First, define the name of the notification and select AI event that triggers the notification. User can select one of the AI event types: Motion, Face detection, Face Search and Temperature station. Depends on the selected AI event type, the selection and usable message variables will change. Select “include snapshot in app notification” will include the snapshot at the App notification message.



In the case of face search, select the group or user that matches the search criteria is required.

Next, select the node and devices that triggers this event. Multiple selection of mixed node and devices is allowed.



Finally, select the time range and suppression time for this notification. The notification is always active if no time range is defined. Select “Add email to this notification” if email notification is also required.

  • TIME RANGE: Select the time that allows the event trigger to send notification.  This notification is active all day if the start time is the same as the end time.
  • SUPPRESSING TIME: System will send the first event notification, then silent for X min of suppressing time; then at the end of the X min, system will send the total event count. User can use this feature to limit the system, so it does not spam the recipients.




Click on icon on the upper right during the setup process will lose the configuration.

On the notification rule, user can left swipe to edit, disable or delete the notification.







Logout menu:

Logout will end the current session and return to login menu.
